Cornflower ran into the clearing, fast as usual. She chased her tail and jumped in the air for no particular reason. She parted her jaws and let out her loudest roar. She squeaked a bit at the end but that was okay, because she was having fun!

As the big, black wolf moved into the clearing, he almost turned back around and left, seeing, that as far as he could see, there was no one in the clearing that could have called him. With a shake of his head, he started to turn, but stopped as he noticed something bounding in the tall grass. It looked felinish, but at the same time, Luc was to far away to truely tell. "You there! Are you the one who called?" he barked/growled.
Cornflower shook a little. Who was that? She didn't even know what he was talking about. So she gave the obvious answer. "Yes," she called back. "I called you!" She stifled a giggle. "Hurry up and come over here!"

Surprised by the little thing's order, Luc actually started to pad toward the creature. As he neared, he noticed that it was very small and oddly colored. His experience with other speices was limited to just wolves, so the actual speices of this creature escaped him. "What are you?" he asked curiously, even as Lucian questioned Luc's ability to not question anything.

A Cheetah? Luc cocked his head to the side and gazed at the little cub, though he knew that t couldn't be all that little, if it didn't have it's mother around. "Where is your mother?" he questioned, not really sure how to answer the question of a name, simply because of Lucian and his name, Luc. He would have to figure out how to answer that question if more creatures were to arrive like this one.
"I don't know," Cornflower replied, still running in circles. "Can I stay with you?" She really didn't know where her mother was, and she didn't really want to go with the big animal, but why not ask?

Luc quickly lifted his head at the little Cheetah's question. He really had no idea how to care for a cub, neither did Lucian, but maybe Phoenix or Jewel would have some motherly instinct and they would be able to raise the cub, if no mother came to claim it. Quickly, he nodded his head and stepped back. "My name is Luc," he stated, figuring he would explain his other nature if the cub ever asked. "What's yours?" As he talked, he started to turn away from the cub, motioning her to follow him. It would be easier to have the cub back within the pack, before anyone showed up and demanded a fight for the little creature.
Cornflower's eyes opened. "Just like that?" That was easy she thought. "My name is Cornflower." She went after the big wolf, Luc. "Where are y- we going?" He's not going to eat me, she assured herself half-heartedly.

Luc nodded his head, knowing the little Cheetah, now known as Cornflower, had to be thinking he had meant to eat her. "I'm not your typical wolf," he stated, glancing over his shoulder at her. "We are going back to this cave that my friends and I have claimed as ours. You're welcome to come along, or go your separate way," he stated, ending his sentence with more of an after thought than a real chance for Cornflower to leave.

Luc paused and turned to face Cornflower with his left side. He only nodded, understanding she wanted to know this information for her own safety. "There is myself, a golden shepup that may be just a year older than you, her mate, and a shewolf that I'm am in the process of courting," he stated, "Making only four wolves so far."
Cornflower looked down. "Lead on." The worst thing that could happen is that she would act silly. After all, that old rabbit had warned her about wolves. She trusted this one though.
